The show before the show

Some people think the front row is more important, or at least entertaining, then the show. Other's get really upset by the amount of attention the front row gets and feels as if it's taking fashion from being a form of art to being a gossip ridden "Scene".

I'm somewhere in between, I don't really care about who was sitting in the front row but I want to know what they all wore.

Here are a couple of really nice examples from A'Detacher show last NYFW

Rehearsal

Strangely enough, the people who are dressed most sensibly for Fashion Week are the models. They know that the people they need to impress will see them on the runway, clad in top designer outfit and made up to look gorgeous. Once the show is over, they'll have to run to the next one (sensible shoes), in an uncomfortable weather (good jacket and sweater) then sit for another 3 hours to have their hair and make up done (comfortable pants).

Still, they are beautiful young women with strong knowledge of fashion and their own personal style.

A show rehearsal is the perfect time to see models in their own attire and appreciate their sense of dressing up.
