Highline inspiration

Every now and then, I feel totally out of inspiration, fashion and otherwise, I feel like I've just been doing the same things, listening to the same music, wearing the same clothes. The best way to get out of thus rut is to get out of the house and watch people for a couple of hours, preferably with a camera.

And one of the best places to do this in NYC is the highline, a perfect mixture of urban view with islands of nature, of locals and tourists, of young hip artists and office workers on lunch breaks, of elderly couples and young families, romantic dates and people looking for a moment of solitude in the crowd.

The highline looks totally different in different seasons, in moves from stark gray at winter, to all light green in spring to beautiful foliage tones in fall.  and in the last days of summer? it's beautifully colorful with flowers, changing leaves and greens.

RED

Creating a strong graphic fashion statement, especially teamed with black and white.

Neutral and Gray

A subtle combination of gray, taupe, charcoal, brown, olive green, sage, caramel and coffee, for a muted but not at all boring outfit.

Pink Accent

For a sweet whimsical informal outfit!
